They played on their heels and apprehensive until the second half.
Niners are not psychologically in tune right now.

Seattle does not have good receivers. Costly drops. Their QB had like 7 completions, 19 yards in the second half. Our defense rose to the occaison. Our offense did what was needed for a win. 5-2 at this point? I'll take it!

If there ever was a game that was a one stat game.... as in W or L, it is the Thursday night football game. Look at all the games played this year.... Just happy to get the W, and wash the Giants game taste out of my mouth. 5-2.... everyone would be happy with that record at this point before the season started. I always find it funny how people will claim this team can win the SB and then predict 11-5 season, THEN when we lose forget that they predicted bumps in the road and cry the sky is falling.

The game was pretty much what everyone expected...two physically sound teams beating each other up. If Russell Wilson's receivers could catch the ball, Seahawks win. Games like this, are what football are all about. The NFC West is what the AFC North used to be...defensive battles/beasts!

I love this personally. This way we are in every game and everyone that plays us will feel it the week after. Fortunately Seattle has 10 days off

As a Seattle fan I will take the respect any way I can. It was a great game and a very tough and physical game overall
Congrats Niners fans, you definitely earned this win, can't hate on that.

Close game against a tough team. The Niners came away with the sole stat than matters, a win. If you need more style points, stick to ice dancing

As one of the many zoners who did not call Seattle over rated, I will say that their CBs are considered among the best in football...very physical and yet fast, can stay with receivers down the field. Their DC is also considered one of the best.

Freaking Huge WIN - These are the games (like Minny game) that you need to find a way to win somehow.
However you do it, come out with a win. Nobody is going to remember how ugly this game was when you're in the playoffs.
But they will remember it if you don't win and the team misses the playoffs.
Great win.

In my opinion, the Seahawks ARE an overrated team, but that doesn't mean they're not a good one.
The Seahawks are a lot like we are. Strong coaching staff, good defense, power-running offense. I like Russell Wilson, but he's a 5'11" rookie this year. It'll be interesting to see how he progresses, but they'd be a lot more dangerous with a veteran quarterback. I imagine they'll be challenging for a wild card, while we'll (hopefully) be fighting for a bye.
With that said, I'm not looking forward to when we have to play them in Seattle. That's going to be a rough going.

Why are people always saying if? If the Hawks WRs don't drop the ball they'd have won, well they did so it doesn't matter if. This was a good bounce back game for the 9ers. I'm glad to see us do what we do best RUN THE FOOTBALL!!!!!!!!!!
