Time for Ginn on kickoffs?

Our field position has the offense starting at the 25 yard line or less. It's tough to go the length of the field against any NFL team. The Giants, Vikings and Bills torched us for big plays that set up their offenses on our side the field. Short fields make any offense look good. Kyle Williams can't seem to get away from the first wave. Maybe it's the blocking schemes or he's not hitting the hole fast enough. We all know what Ted Ginn can do, he gets a window and he's off to the races. Is it time to put him on full duty with punts and kickoffs?

Ginn is starting the run like a q u e e r. His speed isn't really a factor any more.

Well atleast he get's 20 running straight, kyle dances and goes backwards for lose! Why can't we run a screen pass some time to ginn or manh, or kyle. All those guys could break one!

Ginn runs like the players about to tackle him have the cooties, I mean do you see how he is running? with no purpose at all. No electrifying speed, cuts or vision
If we dial up LaMicheal James #, for special teams I suspect he would do better then all these clowns. It starting to feel Giants have our number sort of like the Packers did back in the day. *sigh* SMH

Cut Ginn, deactivate Celek, elevate James and Jenkins to the active roster.
Right now, we have Ginn on the active list only doing one thing...PRs...just like we have Jennings doing one thing...LS duties.
What the hell is Harbaugh thinking? He's getting way too cute.

We have too many similar players at wide receiver and running back. Maybe Harbaugh got paranoid that they would start getting injured, but nobody is going down so we have a logjam. Kyle Williams - A.J. Jenkins, who happens to be our 1st round pick. Kendall Hunter - LaMichael James. Mario Manningham - Michael Crabtree. Too many similar players, but that said, I think Ted Ginn still has his uses. He is a unique talent that is lanky and lightning fast in the open field. We don't have anyone like him.

As long as Ginn is on the team, he should be returning both KO's and punts. KW can do the job, but Ginn is more polished. He hits the openings quickly, KW is too indecisive.

Yeah, kyle is trying to go backwards too much. Needs to just hit the hole and go. One game he does it, the next he is trying to run backwards and out run everyone. This isn't college. I think Ginn should be doing both.

Kendall Hunter should be our return guy I said in another thread that that's a change I would make get rid of Gin and Williams on return they are not making anything happen and like you said if we start with better field position when the offense takes the filed or better yet we get a touchdown on a return that makes it all the better

You want our #2 RB who sees 20+ snaps a game to risk getting hurt on a kickoff? No thank you, Ginn should be back there because he never sees the offensive field.

Let Kyle keep doing it along with punts and let this guy suit up.

I agree - not sure why they are collecting personnell this way. This is the exact reason I think Jenkins was not the right pick at receiver. As I've said in other more elaborate posts - our receivers and TE all present a small throwing window - meaning they are best when the ball is right on them. We need a big target, security blanket receiver to convert third downs and in the red zone. I was hoping Moss would be that big target - ??? But they don't use him that way.
