I'd say around 17. He'll drop back on 7 of those, whether they result in a pass or not is something else. Of the remaining 10, He'll hand off on five, pitch it twice and run it himself three times. A lot will depend on how many times we can get in 2nd and 6 or less.

I think that we will see a LOT of Kaepernick. Here's why:
The Giants are 27th in 2nd-level yards (5 - 10 yards past LOS) allowed per carry, and 23rd in open field yards (10+ yards past LOS) allowed per carry.
The 49ers #1 in the NFL in 2nd-level yards gained per carry and #9 in open-field yards gained per carry.
This flashes *** strength vs. weakness, and the chances of a back breaking a long-one after getting past the first level is high. As a result, Kaep will get plenty of opportunities... more opportunities = more chances to break through the first level and get a 20+ yarder in.
Lots of reverses too.

Where did I say anything about an injury?
I wouldn't hope for anyone to get injured ever, I just want to call 100% read-option plays this week.

Depends on how the game is going and if different situations arise. I think he will get 3-4 in the first and maybe less if the game is close in the second half.
