Alex Smith can't see anything!! A wide open Randy Moss and he throws a pick! He is what is holding this offense back! Gore was awesome as usual If we finally get a QB we will be dangerous on both sides of the ball.

Yeah, we need one of those QBs who never fails to see an open WR and never throws a pick. Apparently they're everywhere but SF.

No, some of those underthrown was because the receiver got held and wasn't called. The first deep ball to Williams, he got held. Actually it was over thrown not under thrown.

Im sure you have an excuse for every poor play Alex Smith has ever had. He's been below average this year with 1 good game against buffalo. Like I said, he needs everything working in his favor to have a good game, you can't rely on a QB like that forever.

We are discussing. Stop going back to the 'excuse' card. Not excusing the poor play of Smith at all. We are discussing the game so the the holding of our receiver was part of it. If you stop cookie cutting into the game being all of Smith's fault long enough, maybe I will discuss the game further with you. Being sincere here.

Smith is inept just admit it, it's ok
Matt Barrows ‏@mattbarrows Gore says he was hit on the back on the second quarter, says he'll be alright. Goldson left the game with cramps.

I would love to see a stat what the 49ers record is when VD has 0 receptions (balls thrown his way?)

Or what that does to my fantasy team

Aside from Frank and the Defense, starting any niners in fantasy is tough. I had Alex on my bench but had to drop him because couldn't trust his stats.

I started Alex last game... had rg3 on the bench thinking his injury would calm him down

This game was so tacking fix its not even funny. Why in the world would harbaugh gave up the points when it is a safety with less than a minute left. The spread was 8 pts and the 9ers would have covered. Either harbaugh is betting against his team or he is the biggest idiot in the world.

Because returning a punt after a safety allows the seahawks to try and force a fumble and take it back or recover it, and there is more chance for injury on special teams plays. Harbaugh took the ball back because he knew he could just kneel it and secure the game knowing seattle had no timeouts.

Congrats on the win guys. The 9ers are very balanced and solid where it counts. Enjoy the victory.

See you in December.

You guys are tough man. These are the teams of the future in this division. a lot of tough wars like this.
Great rivalry going, your stadium will be tough especially in that friendly weather that time of year.
Wow, Seattle is now 0-3 in the division.
People went crazy on the "Randy Moss was wide open," play where Alex threw the pick (even Gore was pointing!) after Mayock went so heavy on it, but every angle I've looked at he was under duress, had no window, and there was no easy pass to him. I'd have preferred he just throw it away, run, or take a sack, but he was trying to be aggressive rather than passive, a criticism people constantly pepper him with.

Posters have a right to their opinions, but stuff like this

doesn't cut it and is designed to provoke a response. If you dislike the dude, make a compelling argument and not a short response. You may not see it as a problem, but it creates them for other posters who will feel the need to respond.

They wouldn't punt deep but drop kick onside attempt.

That was an excuse, no way around it. Alex Smiths last 2 games, 300 yards, 1 td, 4 interceptions.

He had EVERYTHING working in his favor today and he couldn't make the seahawks pay. The first pass of the day was off target, and thats a rehersed play with Crabtree wide open in the flat. He was horrible on all but one drive. Not good enough any way you look at it.

LOL, you think Harbaugh cares about a spread? Obviously, you bet on the game or you wouldn't call him an idiot. By the way like I told the other angry guy always buy points to put it under 7 if it's 7.5 You do realize after a safety they would be up 9 BUT Seattle could squib punt the ball and if it went 10 yards they could recover it. They still have to get a TD and a FG with an onside in there in like 50 seconds but teams have come close to doing that before. All it takes is one blown assignment. With what he did after he was told they were short all we had to do was take a knee. Plus there is a chance of injury on those plays where nobody has ever been hurt on a kneel down.
