Big let down today, but it happens. Road game, 10 a.m. start in a tough place to play. Not the first time it's happened to a heavy favorite, and it won't be the last. Our team is tough, they will bounce back.
We're gonna be down a game behind the Cards for probably another 4 weeks, yay.

, sorry, he just does.
and Gore fumbled and the defense gave up all those points and the Staley really did suck but you still blame Smith. Priceless, I'm not even a Smith supporter but I do know what I see on the field.

terrible play calling, and same old Alex. Like I said, when he doesn't have a devastating defense and a devastating ST (despite a 94 yard return), he is at best average.
Alex wasnt the problem today. maybe you should actually watch the games.
Trap game? I think we looked flat in all 3 phases of the game. Offense, defense and special teams. We got fired up for Green Bay and Detroit. 2 playoff teams. We just looked bad at everything. 1 drive on offense, Williams was good on special teams and that's it. Defense was awful. Three 80 + yard drives. We just couldn't get them off the field. Our D could not stop them ever. They drove the whole field many times and ate up time of posession.
Can somebody tell me why we went away from the run game early? It was pass 1st down, pass 2nd down, pass 3rd down. Then punt. It seems run, run, then pass to move the sticks is more our formula. Especially the way this team is built. It gave us short posessions and them the ball and them the clock advantage.
24/35 with one TD and one Int.81 QBR. So while Smith did not play well and missed Moss for a likely TD, the play calling, drop on 3rd down, D giving up over 150 yards rushing...many reasons for this loss. The Vikes were jazzed, they were at home, they were playing the #1 team in the NFL and their QB was really impressive. The 9ers had just beaten two of their major rivals, traveled and played at 10AM, and looked like they were narcoleptic.
Put this one in the past and look forward to next week! Still will likely be among the Super Bowl favorites.
OH my good lord the world is over, we lost 1 game of three, we didn't go for any huge hail mary type passes, and alex ruined the whole game for us, i guess we need to all just
