SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS VS DETROIT LIONS GAMEDAY THREAD (Week 2)

Rob Riggle is straight up f**king niner hater, and he's not even funny. Bring back the guy who does Madden impressions already, please?
And I thought it couldn't get any worse than Frank Caliendo....I was terribly wrong...

mid 80s, this happened every week. I remember that turning out okay. Don't forget, Sharpe says we're going down

I know... it's not like it didn't happen last season... I still don't like it.

Sharpe doesn't count. That was a comic relief segment. f**king Jason Hanson.

Criticizing one of the Lions' strengths is ridiculous. Lions had 5 sacks last year vs. your stellar oline. And we are much improved this time around. Delusion runs rampant in this forum, apparently.
If anyone is delusional about thier football team it is you. you people are either unable or unwilling or maybe you are just in denial that you have not even played 500 level football since your loss last year to us. You people are either unable or unwilling or are just in denial that you are not a physical football team, you have a bunch of bullies and you lions fans confuse dirty play with physical play. you people are either unable or unwilling or are just in denial that the key to this game is smith putting up better numbers than stafford. I could care less about that and if you think that is the key, again the amount of knowledge you lions fans have about football can be fit into a thimble. we are much more balenced so we will make your defense look bad. we tackle soooooo much better than anyone including you. . we bring out the worst in teams we play or in the case of the lions we brought out thier true colors last year and that will carry over to this year. a quarterback who is a turnover machine , a team that lacks any discipline at all, a team that will shoot itself in the foot with penalities and then cry that they are the victims of bad refs. a team that , when gets hit the mouth , will fade away like a little whipped welp

Missed your post the first time... but YES!

Book it.

This.

Alex Smith 300+ yards? Maybe once in the last 23 games. Here's the thing those of you on the West Coast don't know. The run game will not be as effective vs. this Detroit front seven. There are a lot of names you are going to learn today for the first time. The 49ers will have to pass the ball to win. The facts do not bode well for Alex Smith unless he plays a career game.
NFL.com has a video about this game and it's titled "It's all about the handshake." Really? REALLY? It's all about the stupid ass f**king handshake? Nothing about the game could be meaningful only the ghey ass handshake right? God sometimes they make me want to puke.

You think he is? That would explain why Sharpe would mention him for no logical reason.

atthew stafford beat a team with a winnign record hasnt happened in his career yet heres the thing about people from detriot

they care more about stats then wins which is why they will always be losers

unless if stafford has a career game he will lose. O ya career rating of 72 in those games ( 16 TD 17 int)

Be honest with the numbers. We beat Chicago, Dallas, and Denver last year. If we hadn't it is likely that more of them would have made the playoffs. But hey, it's nice to see yet another delusional 9ers poster here misuse information.

I think its great that the Lions got both fans and the internet in the same offseason, but maybe you should use that internet to research some stats, like the 180+ yards we rushed for against your D in your house last year. It's called Google. Silly kittens.

We weren't suppose to be able to run against your punk a** team last year either, but how did that work out for you? Not only are we gonna run againt your all world defence but we're gonna exploit that weak a** secondary. Book it.
