Is Manningham Better Than Josh Morgan?

To me they seem somewhat similar as far as style goes. I could be wrong, I don't know a whole lot about Manningham t.b.h. but watching his highlights it seems like he is a decent possession receiver and a deep threat. I guess my question is can Manningham play a Morgan type role for this offense? Or has Crabtree now moved into that role? Or what? All I know is having Manningham as our #3 and me thinking him and Morgan(last years #2) are somewhat similar that is a nice luxury to have. Excited to see what this guy can bring to the table.

I think Rio is a little better than Morgan, BUT, if throwing in the built-up chemistry that Josh and Alex had? It's a pretty even giveaway/takeaway.

Morgan will have a better season, but Manningham has more talent.

Morgan was a good player for us.
Our passing offense just stank ass. What was he supposed to do? Coach, block, play call and pass the ball?

Free agency tells all.
Morgan essentially two-year deal worth up to $12 million, with $7.5 million guaranteed
Manningham two-year, $7.375 million I think around 4 million guaranteed.
Some will say Washington overpaid. Either way you can see the free market sees them as similar level receivers.
