Cartwright never had a chance in my opinion unless Dixon didn't show up at all this preseason. Dixon is way more talented than Cartwright and is almost a decade younger. It also doesn't ever hurt to have a guy who is 240+ pounds and can run on your special teams. Good move keeping Dixon.

I was another person who was disappointed in Dixon last season and expected/wanted him replaced but mad respect to him all his hard work making this transformation. Very happy to be proven wrong.

me to. i ate my crow in another thread but yes i wanted him to stay, thought dixon was gone. hats off to dixon, hats off to all posters who were on the right side of this. I was wrong big time and i am ok with that cuz i want the best players on the team and dixon must be one of them. rock will probably make a roster somewhere but yes, i was wrong, big time, huge about this

you are right on, spot on,, i was dead wrong and thats ok. maybe he will be named captain of the special teams,, i am sorry to dirty p and afrikan and all others who i ran my mouth to,, predicting and"knowing" rock would make the team. i screwed up , congrats to dixon for taking the jacobs and rock signing as a kick in the ass,

He obviously played his way onto the team over the last 2 games. That was easy to see. I didn't think he'd make it, but he proved me, and a lot of us, wrong.
