Salary had nothing to do with it. Rock would only count $540,000 also with the veteran minimum credit.

Mine is Dixon. He played well yesterday and changed a lot of minds but he just isnt the future and Rock Cartwright has more to offer on ST.

IMHO Dixon stays. He worked extremely hard and dedicated his offseason and preseason to the team. It just sends a wrong message to the team to cut the guy after everything that Harbaugh has said. "You work hard and things will work out for you"
