Too bad people can't seem to stay on topic.
Having Moss and VD as deep threats combined with Crabs and Manningham for mid and short route effectiveness will give defenses fits. Add to that a power running game and a few unknowns like our rookies and I can see us getting the benefits of many penalties. I see a lot of off-sides and holding calls when JH unleashes the total package.

ci think VD is mid route
he does have speed but i wouldnt say he is a deep threat (at least he hasnt shown it yet)

We don't know about Moss yet and Manningham may or may not be as good as Morgan, given the latter's rapport with Smith.

he did not run a deep route
the catch v. the giants, was not a deep route? not the first touchdown, but the second one. If you are talking about 70yd catch, then yeah, hes not a deep threat...

im not sayint he cant do it
im sayng he cant do it on a consistent basis
he is most dangerous taking the medium passes and then running with it
i can think of numerous games where he ran deep and dropped the ball
