Oct. 18th Thursday night game

I would like to ask for some advice. I live in Oregon, but am traveling to San Fransisco for the Thursday night game. This will be my first gameday experience at Candlestick, and was wondering if anyone had any insight on where to stay, if it's easier to take a cab to the game or rent a car and drive, and what time would be the best to get there. Thanks for the help.

Check that out. Thats the zone tailgate. If you search tailgate, you will find countless threads on attending a game. You can rent a car, it's no problem. Just go early.

I'll let other people give you hotel advice.

And have fun bro!
Pm user Dobo, He travels to every 49ers home game, I believe he is in the Oregon area as well. So he has an idea of the best ways to get around town and the best places to stay

If you want to go low budget, You can stay at the Grosvenor Hotel in South San Francisco. Best Western Hotel only 5 miles from the Stick and they have a bus that ferries people to and from The Stick.

I got my tickets last week and we are starting our tailgate around 1pm.
