But with that whole change they did to the suspensions policy pertaining to spousal abuse/domestic violence yesterday, I can't say i'm too surprised about it.
I'm just going to look at it like this, if Aldon can stay in shape and stay out of trouble, he'll in essence be fresh for the remainder of the season and into the playoffs. Plus, the younger guys (Lynch, Lemonier, etc.) can get valuable experience while he's out. We just need to go at least 6-3 for those first 9 games.

The worst thing you could do to the guy is isolate him from the team. I'm fine if a suspension places him on the bench for 9 weeks. What isn't cool is that the suspension will remove him from the team and remove him from getting the support he needs to battle this addictions. Isolating an alcoholic will make it more likely that he will relapse.
