actually you can.
ive walked away from a broken leg.
actually had my leg broken in 2 places at the same time and didnt know it.
i thought it was just a deep bruise.
Until visiting my GF who works for my Dr convinced me to see him where he told me i had 2 hairline fractures
i could either deal with the pain or wear a cast.
i said ill deal with the pain (as i already had been for a month on 1 part and a week and a half on the other.

Hurt for about another month, month and a half maybe. now its pain free.

well unless i touch it or something then i remember . but this has been like 3 months now.

The article said a broken back:

Quote:

The unidentified driver of the car sustained a broken back after allegedly swerving to avoid a deer, according to CHP spokesman D.J. Sarabia. The driver was transported to San Jose Regional Medical Center, and Smith was taken to Stanford Hospital to receive "a few stitches" for a cut above an eye.

Broken back is an incredibly vague description. It could mean PARALYZED but it could also mean CRACKED VERTEBRAE..........
Exactly! you can break your back and go home and have sex.
you can also break your leg and go run a race.
Depends.
i broke my leg and finished playing the game i was in . Also played the next 3 weeks.
not until i broke it the 2nd time did i know it was actually broken and not a deep bruise like i thought.
I still manned up and continued every day life.
And since i was going to vegas in 2 weeks no way was i gonna wear a cast.
and yes i was at pool parties and clubs like it was nothing!

Regarding the "broken back"....

It was described that way by the CHP, right? That's what it says in the articles anyway.

That would be a field diagnosis and was likely precautionary in nature. It's common for victims of high impact car crashes to get treated as if they have serious back or neck injuries even when they don't. After an accident, the driver and passengers can be up and walking around before the CHP or ambulance arrives. The paramedics will still make them get on a stretcher with a neck brace just to be safe if they have ANY reason to think there is spinal trauma. It's not like they took an x-ray at the scene.

Also, please try to remember that just because someone writes it in an article, it doesn't mean it's true. The way it's been written is extremely vague and could easily have been misinterpreted. Remember the tweets and reports while the 49ers were trying to hire Harbaugh? You guys still just automatically believe everything you read?
is he died?

So 2 sacks, 1 FF, 1 assisted tackle -- Any idea on pressures or hurries?

Should have been 3 sacks if not for a penalty. Great day and move on
4.5 sacks through first 4 games. He didn't register his first sack until week 4 last season.

"But but but he doesn't look explosive. I don't think he can be good being an every down player. WAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!"
Don't forget he also puts his hands on his hips too much.

Aldon is all over the opposing QB.

Aldon had another sack that was negated by a penalty, and almost had a safety. The problem is, if teams tried to actually set up pockets against us, we would have a lot more sacks, but they game plan to get rid of the ball fast, and QB's are prepared to scramble away if nothing is open immediately. To complete passes against us, the quarterback has to make a lot of plays with his feet, otherwise he has no chance.
there were two sacks negated by penalties. one from aldon and the other one from mcdonald.
I think Aldon played his best game as a 49er today. He was a force. We're still just getting a glimpse of what a man-child this kid is -- or how good he can be.

In addition, he had two tackles for a loss and 1 quarterback hit.
