2012 Niners Offense, Best Since..

2011..... aint seen ish yet to say different

They have played 0 games

They are 4-0 right now of course they are good. Best since 94 offense.

its been like 4 practices

I've been following the 49ers a long time & I've never seen this much fire power accumulated on a roster.

Let's start with the running backs, Frank Gore & Kendall Hunter were studs last year a true thunder & lightning attack. We all were familiar with what Frank Gore was capable of but young Hunter was extremelely impressive flashing game changing speed 49er fans haven't seen in quite awhile. Now add Brandon Jacobs a gladiator of a football player, this guy will knock the snot out of you & hold on to the ball while he's at it. I think the addition of Jacobs pays off big obviously on goal line & short yardage situations. Then add to the mix Lamichael James, living on the west coast I've watched a lot of Oregon games, let me tell you we got "top 5" talent with this kid. He's a pure playmaker, in college he had to be accounted for every play because he could take it to the house from anywhere. Don't forget about Bruce Miller, he's a gifted reciever out of the backfield & has the potential to become a devastating lead blocker.

Moving on to the recievers, there has never been a wide out to rival Jerry Rice but if you had to pick one it would have to be Randy Moss. The scary thing is we don't need Moss to dominate, just strech the defense & make them pay for single coverage from time to time & his addition will prove to be an important one. Manningham was another nice pick up, all this guy does is get open & make big catches. Aj Jenkins has a whole lot of speed & toughness, look for him to be very dangerous especially on crossing routes & play action. When you add Vernon Davis & Michael Crabtree you get an offense that probably gives Harbaugh a hard on & will be impossible to stop.

Long time? maybe in recent history but not alltime

The weapons are there, but Smith's gotta have time (on the O Line), make good decisions (on Smith), and not be afraid to pull the trigger (on Smith). I'm confident that the O will continue to improve next year.

If they can get the offense into the top10, I would be very happy. Not sure that they can get it into the top 5 with all these new guys. It usually takes 2years of good consistent offense to get it into the top of the league.

Obviously the best offense ever

We have a reason to be excited this year, we have weapons, weapons and more weapons ....its a far cry from Tim Rattay throwing to Curtis Conway and Arnaz Battle ...we definitely have potential to be a top 5 offense
