Kaepernick vs. Tolzien vs. Johnson

Who's going to be the number 2, 3 and possibly 4th QB? I'm very interested to see how CK plays in preseason. He's got a lot of confidence and is itching to play. No way he'll start this year though. Also, I don't know about cutting Tolzien. I'd keep him around if he plays well. He apperas to be devoted to his craft. Johnson on the other hand has skills but are they even neccessary in the system we run?

I am wondering why we have 4 QB's on the roster....

Just in case 3 QB's somehow all get injured? Weird to have so much depth at QB.

Valrod 33 probably has it right. I just wonder if Kaep is a WCO QB. Just seems to me he might be a better fit in an offense similar to what Norv Turner runs in San Diego. Be interesting to watch Kaep in pre season if he hasnt been traded during this years draft.

its the offseason, they can have 5 QB's on the roster if they wanted to. When it comes down to the start of the season, they will have 3 and maybe one will be signed onto the practice squad.

I agree. Harbaugh wants to see what he has in Kaep and Tolzian by bringing in Johnson to pressure them...............
