Seems pretty reasonable to me too....although if the Niners can get Fleener, I think those TD totals might be a bit higher.
Incidentally, if you count the playoff games, Alex had 22 TDs, 5 picks, 513 attempts, 309 completions, 60.2 completion %., 3639 yards, and a 7.2 yds/att... In other words, he already has reached some of the numbers some of you have projected him to reach in 2012...
With a full off-season and training camp to fully assimilate Harbaugh's system, I can see Alex throwing 24-30 TDs with between 7 and 12 picks, a 63-65 comp. %, and if he throws 480-520 passes, between 3,500 and 4,000 yds. Not a stretch at all IMHO...
Alex may not be (or ever be) an elite
QB...but I think he has already proven that he is quite a bit better than average and an exceptional leader on the field. His teammates seem to really believe in him...and he led 5 comeback wins in the fourth quarter this past season. Not too shabby.
My overall point is this...I don't think we have seen him hit his ceiling yet and that ceiling may be higher than many of us think.
