Really strange to me that we haven't seen much of Manningham in the preseason. Compared to Jacobs who is of the same FA pickup and got a few look-see runs before his injury. Wonder if it's just a case of Harbaugh being ultra secretive.

It is strange. I think in week 2 of training camp I read that him and Alex were working really well together. I looked forward to seeing it in preseason. But I think he's been out the last few days fir his grandfathers funeral. Hope he's ready for Sunday

about time we brought this to this thread
He did not play in week 1 due to an undisclosed injury IIRC
Week 2 he played sparingly
Then I believe 1 or 2 days before Denver he learned of his fathers death and the funeral was scheduled about the same time as the SD game which is why he missed both games in a 5 day span.
In reality he has missed just over 1 week of practice/games and will be back on Tuesday when we resume practice for week 1.
