huge difference between vernon and TO is that vernon will openly admit his past mistakes and how he used to be extremely immature, even thanks singletary for turning him around. TO would of never done that

In all fairness to Vernon, that celebration was no more extravagant than say, Jimmy Graham dunkin on the fieldgoal post.It was a BS penalty that some power-hungry official jumped all over. Fact is, we wouldn't be talkin about that "stupid penalty" if we won that game.....aka if we didn't get effed. Call it sour grapes but I will never get over that non-fumble, foward progress crap call. It costed us a 6th!!!!!

Not worried but was annoyed that he cost two penalties in a game that was bound to be close. He needs to knock that off and just be the incredible threat he is and people will notice. The interview was funny to me as he was bounding with pent up playoff joy and wanted to finally be acknowledged as the GREAT player he is (the Washington game must have really hurt!). I think it is important that he get flack, just as most players, when he does something stupid. Let's not ignore and reward dumb plays whoever commits them.

Smith's woofing at the DBs after the TD in the NO game also bothered me...just act like you knew you would win and go celebrate with team mates, get a hug from Harbaugh.
