I was having a good day until I just caught this news.

Man this one hurts, what a hero he was for us watching live at that time. And what a class act example of the 49ers. He was our lead receiver opposite Dwight Clark in the beginning of the great 49ers dynasty and made so many of the great catches from Montana's incredible throws to make it all happen.

Dang.

Thank you Freddie, you gave us all hope, faith, dreams, and courage when we needed it most.

You are in our hall of fame all the way.
