Ricky was dope AFTER he left the Niners as well. So this is moot.
It's a tough question for me. I liked both a lot. But if we are talking right here right now I'm going with Watter's. I was pretty bummed when Ricky left. I think you could just sense our run at super bowls were done when he left. That's a big statement for just one player.

Hearst was dope BEFORE he joined the Niners

Rushed for over a grand on the Cardinals.....the Cardinals. For the record Hearst has a higher career Yards/Carry (4.1 vs 4.4) & better attitude/locker room presence.
I say Hearst.

Watters was probably the more naturally gifted back, but Hearst was the better player IMO.

Watters was just another running back after he left the 49ers.

Hearst had heart but just had bad luck with injuries.

Gore reminds me of Hearst a little bit. Of course, I think Gore is the best out of the three.

Even though I loved Ricky as a Niner. My pick is Garrison. He was more of a True Niner at heart and he played through so many injuries. He had the heart of a Lion.
