i looked for a long time before i noticed the club in his hand. i thought it was for a minute

I think Harbaugh has a reason for having Smith be his caddy. Harbaugh is the one playing and probably wants to display the type of competitiveness he wants Alex Smith to play with rather than that ho-hum the play design got me 3 yards...no reason to push it.

Very good analysis. I wouldn't put it pass Harbaugh to have "lessons" in every minor action he takes with Alex.

Alex: I have to use the restroom.

I noticed that as well, but in an interview avter, he said he is gonna go home to spend time will hi wife & son.

Then work to get better.
