49ers like Williams as a slot receiver. He would be fine there as the #3/4 guy. Quick and agile.

He should never had to be back fielding the punts. The decision to keep him should not be made on the basis of last night.
resign
Goldson
#22
Alex until Cap is ready
we need a big time WR
in the Draft or via FA
pick Starting CB
OG
big DL i think Justin Smith not going to play for ever
back up SS or FS you can see some dropoff if Deshon or the other FS

lol , i feel sorry for him !

I may be in the minority, but I rather keep him. 24hrs ago, people were raving about him; now, peopole want him gone. I know what he did last night was heart wrenching, but he's a solid #4 receiver. Do not let him return punts or kick offs EVER AGAIN!!!

this and another wr in the draft.

I'd also like a really tall TE that can catch the ball opposite of VD. Would be answer in redzone and 3rd down conversion. We don't have a really big tall body to throw the ball up to.

3. Don't go near DeSean Jackson (bad attitude)
4. Keep Crabtree and Kyle Williams
5. Resign Josh Morgan
5. Resign Goldson and Rodgers
6. Add depth at RB (draft only)
7. Keep Vernon Davis
8. Resign Ginn (no brainer)
9. Don't cut Chilo without adding a quality replacement (shouldn't be hard)
10. Give Alex Smith receivers that can get open consistantly (see #2)

Can't complain about our wr's and then keep all of them. We let at least 2 of them go. And the who depends on who we get in FA.

Chilo is gone with Kilgore, Boone and Pearson in the wings.

like your rb depth with Frank getting dinged alot lately.

Obviously, upgrade the receiving corps. Start by re-signing Morgan...Harbaugh likes him a lot. Draft TE Fleener from Stanford. Harbaugh will be at the Pro Bowl...good chance to scout some potential FA's. Baalke and scouts will be at the Senior Bowl, great opportunity to see some of the best college players in game situations. Those who're advocating to cut Kyle Williams need to take a deep breath and look at the bigger picture. Yes, he had a bad game yesterday...but, he's also got the toughness and speed that could translate into a nifty slot receiver.

Hopefully, the coaching staff remains intact...but, don't be surprised if some of Harbaugh's guys get offers from other teams. The FA's I hope Ballke re-signs:

- Snyder (too valuable to let go)
- Brooks (very solid OLB who can rush the passer)
- Alex (should only improve with a full year of off-season and a better receiving corps)
- Rogers (resurrected his career--worth a 3-4 yr contract)
- Goldson (finally became the playmaking FS we've needed for so long)
- Costanzo (ST ace)
- Spillman (ditto)
- Grant (filled in admirably for Willis)

like all or your thoughts.

Love the Fleener pick. That solves out tall weapon and lets us go after a speed guy at the wr position either in the draft of FA!
1) Resign Alex (but not more than a 3 year contract, he needs us more than we need him...if the Redskins want to give him 6 years good luck)
2) Resign Rodgers and Goldson hopefully
3) Take a look at WR Deshawn Jackson (his behavior should have cost him major cash maybe we can get him cheap)
4) OL depth in the draft
5) A better power back backup than Anthony Dixon (those were 2 sad carries)
New WR (s)
D-line depth (want to see a consistent rotation)
OLB if Brooks leaves
Resign Rodgers

Smith and Kaepernick "Cage Match" for starting QB
Not sold on Goldson at the price he'll want

And extend Bowman's contract

WR - please please please please, people don't forget how long they take to develop. We need to address this in FA and give Crabtree another chance too.
It should be BEST FA available, Crabtree, Morgan

2 big, fast WR's who can catch the ball
1 big, fast running back who can get around the edge or take it to the house from anywhere on the field
1 guard
1DB
same as everyone else with the resign of the d, and get a bamf wr, but dont forget about the oline too, they were suspect this year.

I'm sure Alex would be fine but I don't want to give a Ryan Fitzpatrick crazy multiyear contract and Desean Jackson would be a great fit for the right price for a 1/2 year deal (a speed WR who can return punts and will have to play hard to get a big multiyear contract...that would have been great yesterday).
Sign FA wideout to be our #1

Crabs

Morgan

Draft pick

Ginn (mainly as a returner) emergency #5 WR

and tell Williams to f**k off
