Was that one of the greatest games ever played ?

that game will go down in history but the broncos beating the steelers last week still got more hype .....me personally, I think the 9ers win over saints in that fashion is by far top 10 best games ever

One of, if not the best game I personally have ever seen.

It goes down as one of the best games in our teams glorious history.


I'm just happy I was there and got to take my son. How lucky is my son to have that as his first NFL game.

I saw Steve Young to TO in '98. I saw the crazy comeback vs. the Giants in '03. Both of those games were awesome but after 9 years of frustration this game topped em all. My goodness the highs and lows, the eery symbolisms in the game:

1. Whitner hit on Thomas reminiscient of Ronnie Lott hits
2. Rogers' 1 on 1 deflection on Colston or Meachem seemed eerily similar to Lott vs. the Rams back in '89?
3. Alex Smith's bootleg (very similar to the bootleg vs. the Seahawks in '06).
4. And of course Smith to VD with 9 secs left.

It's like we were flashbacking through time of the great 49er memories all culminating in an epic finish.

I told my wife I hate this game after the Jimmy Graham catch and need to get my priorities straight. Then after VD to Alex i just went off and I'm sure I scared the neighbors. I could not stop from tearing up. This game is crazy :)

With everything this team has been through and Alex and Vernon being the hero's...I cant think of a better game.

One of mine for sure! And I have seen some great Niner games!

It really depends on how things go from here. If we win the superbowl, this game becomes legendary like the Catch. If not, it's great like the catch II but it's not really legendary.

Its a very emotional game when you factor in the last decade.
