I voted to receive but I have to change my vote and go with the collective consciousness of the webzone..........DEFER.
Defer
i never got the idea of recieving first

you can attempt to score before halftime then score again and come back that could be a huge seing in points

also you can make better halftime adjustments at halftime

Do you have to be rude about it? I've watched every game this season. Thank you very much!

The reason I asked this question is because (in my opinion) if we take the ball first, we can set the tone and tempo for the game with a good opening drive!

Why change anything during the playoffs? Coaches and players have been preaching that they are going to continue what they have been doing, when talking to the media. Have you watched anything 49er related lately?

It's just a question. RELAX
I was always a fan of deferring the kick.

The reason is that when you get the ball in the seconfd half, you have a better grasp of how the game is going and what the situation in.

For example, if we get the ball back at the half and are up by 10, we know to play conservative and try to kill the clock.

If we are down by 14, we have to start thrwing the ball.

If you receive the ball first, you really dont have a complete plan....its just...take the ball down and try to score but we don't really have to etc...
