Actually, the team was helped by letting go of Edwards = a strain on passing game chemistry.

If he was still potentially productive, teams would have reached out and grabbed for him, by now. And for those who talked about Moss, put down the pipe; he plays when HE WANTS, which seems to be not often

Hastings (6-0, 185), a rookie, is a member of the Niners' practice squad. He had 87 catches for 1,546 yards as a senior at Division II Washburn University last year.
Finneran, 35, and Chambers, 33, are NFL veterans who last played in the league in 2010. Finneran had 19 catches for 166 yards and three touchdowns with the Falcons last year. Chambers had 22 catches for 213 yards and a touchdown with the Chiefs in 2010.
The wideouts competed in the 40-yard dash at that workout in October. Harbaugh said Hastings finished first and Swain was second.

Yes, because Braylon was contributing so much...
Don't you guys ever think that this front office and coaching staff knows what they're doing?

You guys crack me up.
Edwards has done NOTHING this year and was going to do NOTHING for the rest of the year. He couldn't run. He couldn't catch.
At least this guy is healthy.

Looking at this guy's highlights, it looks like he has great hands which is a welcome sight.

i think hastings will play this week but once ginn and williams are back he will more than likely be released and depending on what happens with dalenie reuland will more than likely be brought up. After this week, TE is more of a need than WR if delanie is out. Hastings knows the system, can do an adequate job this week. Signing TO would be a bad move at this point in the season

Have we learned nothing this season about publicly hating on the Niners' personnel moves before seeing them play?

We seen this guy play in the preseason I dont remember him catching any balls then. But your right they've made the right decisions so far so we'll just sit back and watch.

it's really no surprise at all. I mean that is the reason why we have a practice squad. he knows the system, been in it all year. harbaugh would not have promoted from the practice squad if he did not feel it was better than going outside the team. no surprises here
