nfl.com says we have secured a 1st round bye but i dont agree..

How have we secured a 1st round bye when we are at 12-3, and new orleans has 2 games left and are at 11-3,

They could finish 13-3 and if we lose to rams we go 12-4.. thats 1 game higher than us. can anyone fill me in?

Its wrong.

If the Saints lose on Monday, we clinch.

If they win and we beat the Rams, we clinch.

The only way we don't get it is to lose to the Rams.
