Cards just beat them. Fitzgerald outplayed the Niners secondary, and the Cards were more effective with their blitzes. Wasn't a trap they simply played better. Plus it was a divisional rival. just like the year they went to the super bowl they lost to the niners twice. It was just a tough divisional lose.
