Dawson may be a problem too. This is looking eerily similar to Davis Akers. Great first season, then bad second season.

Just dont put that block on Dawson, that play was almost ST coach fire-able. 9 guys on the LOS with their thumbs in their mouths... total crap.
The penalty that lost the game was the Willis roughing the passer which is a complete joke.

He led with his helmet. They'll call that every time

Instead, I'd say it was having a 1st and goal fr the 6 and netting 0 Pts. Totally unacceptable!
It was a cluster F--K.

Penalties are bad BUT "Stupid" penalties are really terrible.

Boldin's was inexcusable!

We all make mistakes and we need to regroup fast.

I personally thought it was the Boldin flag and I believe there was a personal foul flag also on the Fitzgerald fumble. Might have been a defenseless receiver call which I found total BS. On the Boldin flag, we could have gotten the lead instead of a blocked FG.

Exactly... There was a good chance we would have taken the lead when it was 1st and goal from the 6.

The number of penalties wasn't as big as the type.

We need to stop giving 15 yards at a time to the opposition!

And also, enough with 'the old NFL didn't used to call that'. In order to win now, we have to win by the rules now!

Jimmie Ward got away with helmet-to-helmet hit right before half.

The only penalty that I saw that I took umbrage with was the Skuta unnecessary roughness penalty. That one he was already in the process of the tackle and he didn't lead with his head.

Other than that, we're committing the violations. Whether we get caught for it more than other teams remains to be seen.
