At this point in their careers Hunter > Gore?

Good grief......did we forget Gore had 5 straight games of 100+ yards heading into this week? He had a bum knee & ankle. He didn't play the majority of the game. Gore is still the best RB on this team and our best offensive player. It's amazing how fickle some fans can be.

I like the 2-3 player tandem we have at running back--Gore when healthy is the best--Hunter is very good--great change up to Gore--and even Dixon ran well when he was in there.

Not just this game but all year
5 games of 100+ means nothing to ya? A guy who pounds it like Gore is going to get banged up but when he is 90%+ he is the best back on our team.

Hunter is a rookie... at this point Gore is better. He has looked nice since week 3. The Giants were stacking the box inside in the first half. Frank had no where to run.

Seriously... Gore is having an MVP type year and we get this type of ridiculous thread. Would Hunter play if he was hurt every week like Gore? We take that for granted. Just ask Cleveland fans with Hillis. Stop hating on Gore!!!!

Gore > Hunter.
Hunter is a nice change of pace so far, but he hasn't proven to be as solid as Gore. Barring the ankle injure Gore would have had another 100+ yard game, helped the 9ers run time off the clock. Hunter needs to prove he can be and everydown back and help eat up the clock........
