Checked. Sadly, he is not over 26, therefor it is physically impossible for him to get another sack (or even a partial sack). He will simply run into the QBs and fall down without bringing them down until the end of the season. He will be able to get sacks in the postseason, however, because they will no longer count toward his regular season stats.

MadDog was sipping on the Aldon haterade for quite some time. I knew the guy could be a good pass-rusher but I never thought he'd be a 20 sacks in a year-good pass-rusher but hell, Aldon's simply an amazing player, what can you say?

Yeah. It's hard to argue with the Aldon Smith pick now. I think JJ Watt is great too. But Aldon you can't go wrong. We have never had a pass rusher like this. Never.

Well, if it came from Maddog, it has to be true. Maybe we should replace him now with a player that might give us some sacks in the next few games.

He seems to be a natural. I thought like many his production might go down as he was a 3rd down specialist mostly last year. But this just put him on the field more and he is even more of a beast as a result....

If I could go back in time I'd find a way to draft both of them, and have a DL featuring Justin Smith, JJ Watt, Aldon and a bunch of CFL dropouts at CB.

ill be honest.. when this thread was first made i thought to myself

"jeez these guys overreact about so much! no way he will get 20 sacks! if anything he might get 11-13 because of the extended playing time"

i love being wrong about these kind of things =]
