49er road following?

Is it me, or does it seem that the 49er faithful do not travel to other stadiums as well as the likes of Dallas, Pittsburgh, Green Bay, or even Detroit? Except for Arizona, I would like to hear a "ROAR" as the 49ers score a touchdown in the opposing team's stadiums. Has the 49ers ever had a good following on the road or has it always been like this? Since it looks like we may become one of the elites again, I would like a road following to indicate as such.

Over the years I have been to 49er away games in Arizona, Tennesee, Carolina, Chicago, Detroit, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Cleveland & Canton (HOF 2000). I would say we have a decent following at most of the away games. I do not know the local 49er fans vs San Francisco area fans ratio traveling across country.

lol I was going to say... I thought the first post was going to be about how f*cking well represented our fans are at most road games. After the Packers, Cowboys and Steelers, we might be the best.

I put us behind the Raiders and Detroit as well. I want us to be an elite road following team.

Thats what happens when you are consistently bad. It will improve if we improve. Most of the people you are talking about are transplanted or band wagon fans anyway.
I cant stand the fans of the steelers, packers, cowboys. They aren't from there, never been to a home game, etc.

One day, I want to hear the niner fans taking over an opposing stadium-besides Arizona.
