Not the least surprising, AP writers/scouts are saying Smith is on track for Defensive Rookie of the Year as long as he just keeps up what he's doing right now.

Ironic how when we drafted Smith half the board wanted to fire Balke and thought the pick was totally insane. Looking like a pretty smart pick.
Imagine having an OLB who can consistenly avg. 8-12 sacks a year, Willis on the inside with Bowman coming on fast and you have to worry about Justin Smith on Aldon Smith side that creates some serious game planning issue for an Offensive line coach. You can already see it happening teams can't double Justin any more because they will have to plan for the Smith's.

1. Patrick Peterson - still think he would've been solid opposite of Rogers.
2. Blaine Gabbert - Much better choice than what we have there sitting behind Smith.
3. Julio Jones - You could pretty much say we could use him right about now.
4. Von Miller - I believe he would be doing just as good if not better in our front 7.
5.Nick Fairley - Kinda or pretty much glad we didn't draft him, McDonald is a beast!!!
