Why do we want to be so stupid and give extra bulliten board material to teams? Just be smart, humble, win and move on. Move on to the next game. Some of these teams you will face again. If they want to roll over and die let them. But why give them extra motivation and make them completely ticked off?
I remember a certain coach laughing about being the "west coast killers" as well. Maybe the coach should STFU and win, if not, he should expect to hear s**t thrown back at him.
BOOM!

Don't buy it. These professional players get plenty motivation. If they need any extra then they slum. Save that bulletin board crap for the amateurs and sad to say the Singletary's. Now is it classy to say they quit? No and we should be even more worried about our team getting cocky which is dangerous ask the eagles.... Understand the 49ers have been losing for almost a decade. Maybe they dont know how to win???
Harbaugh needs to teach them how to win.
48-3...Harbaugh taught them to do that so far. So what's the effin problem? I swear it seems like you complain when we lose, you complain how we win, about what we say after wins, about not being active in FA, and about who we did sign in FA. (who by the way is playing at a pro-bowl level)....You prolly complain that water is too wet. Are u ever just content?

Gore's a respectable player and had the right to say it to the Eagles. Everyone knew it was true.
As for the Bucs... they coined themselves the West Coast Killers after beating us and I believe Seatlle on the road last year. Who cares about what Morris has to say.

What they say after the game is no big deal, what are they supposed to say? That the bucs were giving it their all?
We need to make more teams feel like quitting and stop worrying about small comments like these.

What's a bigger kick in the groin; an off handed comment about an opponent quitting
OR a coach who goes for it on 4th down when his team is up by 39 points in the 4th quarter???

Why don't you go and tell them to stop? See what it gets you.

Philly didn't quit. I wasn't in favor of Gore saying that one.
48-3. I'm pretty sure Tampa Bay should be focusing on that not Vernon Davis stating the truth.

Too f**king bad if you don't like it then don't lose. You lost by 45 points so just shut up and try being competitive in your next game. Besides who cares about bulletin board material when teams having been taking shots at us for years. Like Roddy White making fun of Alex this off-season on Twitter. It's our turn to embarrass people.

I don't think they understand what winning is all about, it's amateurish. I'd say act like you've been there before, but they've never been in a position where they can beat down the other team. So I hope it changes because otherwise they won't be able to take the next step from good team to legitimate contender.

Remember what Harbaugh said about how Winning makes you soft(or something similar to that). I think this is the way for our players to think they still have things they need to improve on, and that they were not as good as they looked because the other team was not giving it their all.
Well, thats the only way I can think of justifying it.

SanDiego isn't happy unless he has something to complain about concerning the 49ers.

If a team needs bulletin board material to play us angry next time after a 48-3 loss, then something is wrong with that team. I'd like our players to be more humble, but not because of not giving bulletin material, but because we haven't won s**t yet.
