Swain is a good special teams player so they will probably keep him as an emergency WR after Braylon comes back. If they cut him after a week Walker can always play some WR and they could bring Rueland up to be a receiving TE.

I covered (Broadcasted) a few of his high school games while he was at Carlsbad High. Good athlete. Not a bad pick-up for the Niners. Special teams duty mostly, but has NFC Central (vs. Detroit) and WCO knowledge that will help.

Two reasons I like this signing:
1. Knows a little about the WCO.
2. Knows what to expect from the Lions, he could be resourceful when we play them.
Other than that,I was expecting us to sign a much more seasoned vet, something we've been lacking at the WR position. Chris Chambers would've been interesting.

Does he still have long hair? It would be pretty cool to have a white boy reciever with long hair....
