Yeah i thought Davis was a good pick. I'm starting to really 2nd guess that.

Guess I'm old school but cut blocking is still legal, it is a two man chop block that is prohibited. To draw leg whipping penalties, you used to need to move your legs, up into the d-linemans legs, kinda laying out to block one guy while kicking at the legs of another, now some a*****e trips over your legs while trying to run around a cut block and that's a penalty....b******t! Lineman are allowed to cut block, and I would like to see more of it, it slows down pass rushers, and gives them fear of retaliation for hits on your QB. Hell late hit my QB and I would CHOP you ass, Tackle engages you high, TE goes low, we toss you on your ass and run sweep your way!That chop block was so effective Vince Lombardi and Bill Walsh road it to several championships! NFL had to ban it because it worked to well! Player today are pussies compared to old school cats! He was a top fifteen selection by choice not by talent. Was AD not hand selected by Singletary? My problem with AD is that there are times he shows why he was a Top 15 pick but other times (and more often then not) he causes face palms. You name it he's prone to do it: False Start, Holding, Tripping, Sacks, TFL, etc. Also over the past one and a quarter season, and this is simply a guess, but it seems to me he has given up the most sacks amongst any of our starters.

Definitely in the minority on this one as I still have high expectations of AD. Dude is still 21-22 years old and has only played the tackle position ~3 years so I'm holding out on the hate. During the combine AD got some criticism because of his poor attitude and questionable work habits, but since he's been with the niners, I haven't heard any Bryant Mckinnie type rumblings and AD seems to always be helping up the gore/hunter. Plus the dude is passionate about football as evidenced when gore scored the go ahead TD last sunday and him being involved in any scrum. AD got about 4 inches of air after that TD.
