Since Oct. 17, 2010, Smith has thrown two interceptions in 224 attempts and has the NFL's lowest interception percentage (0.9) over that time span. ----------------------------- Here's some good news for us Alex fans. I don't normally pay to much attention to stats as they can be bent this way and that. But still that is pretty nice that he only has 2 Ints in over 200+ passes. Some here make it seem that hes a very inaccurate passer. Anyways thought I'd share :).

Can he keep this up? One interception in 4 games should definitely be talked about more, he's doing work right now. I read somewhere if he keeps up this average (1 INT in 4 games), he'll have the record for least interceptions in a season full of games. Woot.

Didnt Brady have 4 picks last year?

If smith goes at this rate, he'll be around 4 picks on the year, so its not record-breaking

He is playing smart... that's why I find it comical when he gets criticized for "dumping it off." Better than TOs and forcing it.... Also, our defense is looking trustworthy which gives even more reason to not force it.

You really think Smith can throw for 4000 yards , 36 TD's and 4 Picks? Only Elite QB's can do that. Smith is not even close to that. I just want him to continue not making mistakes.

Method said it would be a record if he threw 4 picks....i said it wouldnt be cause Brady threw 4 last year.

Interceptions has never been his problem. Its the cost of conservatism you must consider here.

Exactly! Look at Romo, complete opposite but that's what fans want. Alex is taking what the d gives him, very impressed.

I think it's more a dig at the people who made fun of Troy Smith, Shaun Hill, etc... For "dumping it off". Now that the QB that they root for is doing it and doing it well, it's the best thing since sliced bread.

He's also on pace for 16 touchdowns.....which I dont think will cut it.

Alex IS doing a great job limiting the WTF, forehead slapping type moments (2 in 4 games). Having under 10 interceptions on the season is something I will gladly take from Alex, but I do want more out of him. More 2nd half Eagles Alex, less 1st half Eagles Alex.
