My son and I are both football junkies, both played, and I've coached, he and I hope that in the future we can coach a team together, we take notes on game day. I will watch football anywhere any time, but for Niner games I prefer going in to lock down with my son and a note pad, we had lots of notes yesterday, but we both noted Franks foot work, it looked slow, he ran with heavy feet, lacked consistent leg motion, just did not run hard. He looked great in preseason, he always runs hard against the Sea-hags, so what was up did he not trust the game plan? Any thoughts on Franks very un-Frank like running style yesterday?

i don't think that's true. he's definitely had some games where big yardage was based on really long runs, but I can remember games where gore just ripped them on nearly every run.

That happened more earlier in his career--not so much the last 2 years

lol in the preseason games he was in it was "he looks ready". after the 1st game of the season and its, "he looks old and like he lost a step". NT makes me want to strangle kittens.

That happened more earlier in his career--not so much the last 2 years

that's true. his last big game against seattle was the one where he had two 80 yard runs or whatever. the three games since then haven't been anything memorable.

Well I don't know if he looked ready, but he looked better than any of the backs behind him. He just didn't look explosive like teh Gore I remember, granted though he had no running holes.
