Yeah but these guys still ping the Niners every year. Who's to say they will be wrong this year. Dukes has been the most accurate about SF and gets flamed by Niners fans who don't realize he's been right every year.

Maybe not but losing because they have a tougher record does not make them a worse team.

I am not going to include easy or tough schedule in the Niners predicted wins this year because we know how the NFL works and an easy schedule could easily turn into a tough schedule due to parity.
I do think Niners gain 2-3 more wins on coaching alone but could also lose 2-3 more games due to defensive breakdowns caused by incomplete understanding of the new system or some extra offensive mishaps or INT's due to QB/WR mishaps per new system.

He's basically saying Alex Smith is the worst QB in the league and the 49ers have the worst situation at QB. Painfully obvious. [I don't agree with that but whatever]

In a head to head matchup, yes. But if you want to include all around vs most teams in the league, they are better.
