Agree. Dixon is all talk. He dances too much and does not play as big as his size. That xavier Omon dude #33 looked much better than dumbass Dixon.

Don't know WTH Dixon was thinking in last night's game. But I'm willing to forgive him for that. That screen pass was executed pretty good by all who was involved, then suddenly Dixon stopped and tried to change direction instead of following his blockers in front. That was freak'n retarded.
Fix the o line and bench Alex Smith.

Fix the OLINE and put an email out for Dixon.
You keep installing your offense and defense. Focus on oline pre-snap blitz pick-ups. Shake up the starting line-ups. Get Goodwin in with the 1st team, move Snyder to RG now and see how that works. Try Anthony Davis at LT and see if he is the Derek Zoolander of OT's and can only turn one way? Pair up Gholdson and Whitner in the secondary. Keep an eye out for any veteran QB's that come available (Jeff Garcia anybody)? Figure out very quickly who is going to stick around and contribute to ST's cause last nights effort was bad on coverage. And lastly, make damn sure that you fix dumb errors like, 12 men on the field, delay of games, and illegal formations.

What do you work on in practice this week? In what areas do you concentrate the most to improve upon and get ready for the next game? We all agree Harbaugh is a smart guy and will take what he saw tonight, make adjustments, and emphasize these changes in practice. What will those changes be?

There are a lot of things we need to work on, but, my God, the o-line was atrocious. I think he will work on picking up the blitz for sure and working the same group together to form some cohesion.

What say you?

I dont agree at all. When Dixon was allowed to dance he gained yardage. He is not a power back. Can we try to make him into one? Yeah, we can try. After all, a guy of his size should be able to pound the rock and tire opposing defenses, right?

No. Dixon is not of that mold, in fact, he breaks it. I dont think he is being used right and if he were there would be no reason to PS him.

If I am Harbaugh this I stick to my plan and keep bombarding Alex with confidence over and over. Making sure he understands this is just the beginning and its a long season. Harbaugh is gonna need him to play well and a few series after 12 practices mean nothing. I keep pushing him forward and working through to install the offense with as much positive reinforcement as possible. Stay the course I say
I think the Saints, for lack of a better word, punked Harbaugh yesterday. He's a rookie coach and the Saints coaching staff are vets. Who sends complex blitz packages in preseason? It was a form of rookie hazing. Who better than to try something outside of the box than a team you know you can get away with it?

Take your lumps, Harbaugh. Welcome to the NFL.

First order of business would be to bench Rachal, play Snyder at RG, start Goodwin at C. Second, add veteran QB or trade for a young QB. third, add veteran NT.

I would rather have our coach take a tail kicking and hopefully learn from it during the first preseason game than have him thanking Pete Carrol for whipping our tails after the first game. My guess is Harbaugh won't be so easy to surprise from here on out.

IMO, the line played awful. But once again, our quarterbacks made them look worse than they are. When Alex was given time to throw today, he made me remember why I think he will never be good (misses a wide open Vernon by throwing the ball into the ground, throwing a pass badly behind braylon, etc).

That pass behind Braylon was after he'd already taken about four hits. Almost every quarterback in the league would start rushing passes as well if they were taking that kind of abuse.

And start who??? Kaepernick is nowhere near ready to start. Only way I'd start Kaepernick is if the plan all along is to get Andrew Luck.
