I remember that as well and have watched it numerous times. Did he get a penalty for that? I think he got fined but it was clean to me. You know it's bad when your QB is 5 feet off the ground and parallel to it.

He is serviceable. Nothing more nothing less. An upgraded pass rush will make him look alot better.

No penalty, he did get fined and it caused a big controversy cause it was definitly a legal hit.

On some of the angles it looked like he led with his helmet, so I can see why they made their decision to fine him. The first shot shows that the QB steped forward and his head did not hit first. They don't want to take chances with unprotected players so it is understandable.

Shawntae has been overtaken by T.Brown on the depth chart. Could he be the surprise cut due to injury?

They should blitz him sometimes this season. My favorite highlight of his is him blitzing the Lions and blowing up Jon Kitna from the front side. He blew him up, Kitna fumbled, and then Spencer signaled #1 with his finger while walking away. Hilarious!

Yeah.... potential is for young players. Spencer is a Vet CB at this point.
