this game is starting to scare me... Rams have a great defensive line and are huge underdogs at home. Niners are recently decimated with injuries at wide receivers, forcing us to be more one dimensional and stay on the ground, which will keep the game close and stop us from taking advantage of the s**ttiest DBs in all of football. Rams have a terribad offense but with a game so close, special teams/TOs can make a difference.

Crabtree and VD are still miles ahead of thier DB's. We can still run the ball and move the chains against them. I would discoint the idea of a defensive TD by somebody as well.

Go, Niners, go!
This game reminds me of 1998 where we had to beat the Rams at home to host a wild card game against Green Bay. Didn't we shut them out? I was worried but the niners just destroyed them at home. Now, it's on the road, so it may be a different story, but we should get the job done.

Ginn and Williams still yet to practice. We're going to be using Colin Jones at WR for Sunday WTF! That is better than bringing in TO how?

I doubt they would have released Edwards without feeling pretty good about the prospect of having Ginn and Williams both suited up Sunday . . . . and all Colin Jones did today was play for the scout offense.

Williams can't play until he is cleared, it's not up to the coaching staff. Ginn hasn't even suited up in practice yet.

No, I get that. But this isn't their first rodeo. I would suspect, based on past experience, that they feel pretty confident that we'll have Ginn and/or Williams ready by Sunday.

Possibly Ginn, I doubt Williams will play. I have a feeling we go into Sunday with 3 WR's being Crabtree, Swain and Hastings.

Great playoff practice if you ask me, encase either Swain or Hastings are called upon when it counts.

I'd rather not risk it, especially when a 1st round bye is on the line. I really hope that Harbaugh knows what he is doing by leaving the offense up to this Hastings guys. From his highlights I am really not impressed at all. TO's phone should have been ringing IMO.
These are the same guys that beat the Saints. I'm sure Harbaugh isn't taking them lightly.
So who do we have at WR other than Crabtree and Hastings?

The one and only Brett Swain.

Crabtree is the only one that isn't a sure lock at the HOF

My penis is really starting to tingle the game is getting so close.
Love the fact that the coaches are reminding the players how important this game is, and how it must be won.

-This squad really carries no complacency; if this were the past, the staff/players would have that "we're just happy to be here" mentality... but you listen to a lot of the players, they want this season to mean something, they want rings.
