Yeah i never understood that term till i came to this website for 49er news. And since I've started posting here its become really clear why we are called the "40 Whiners" Because even during wins all we can do is b***h and Moan about how we need to do this and he didn't do that or Alex Sucks or well Alex Sucks. It gets really tiring and depressing to see especially after our first 5game win streak since 2001... 2001!!!!!

49er fans don't want to be good, we want to win Super Bowls. It's not about winning a game, it's about getting good enough to win in the playoffs. So when 49ers fans are criticizing the team, it's not whining, it about seeing what needs to get better to win!

Fair comment. However most who accept and are happy for the win do in fact realize that we still have improvements to make.

If the Browns had won, they would be 4-2 and we would be 5-2. Browns are boring but are competitive.

It could be worse, like the Saints losing to the Rams

we've had a more difficult schedule and have more wins than the Patriots, Steelers, Texans, Saints, Bills, Giants, and Ravens. We beat the Lions and Bengals. The Packers are better than us, sure. Are there any other 5 win or better teams out there?

We're not unstoppable. Like every team, we have weaknesses. But, you have to face it: we ARE one of "the big boys."

Teams like the Packers, Steelers, and Patriots have been there and proven themselves with a body of work over the last several years, so they get that respect regardless of their SoS.

of course. but you also have to judge current results. by any measure, we are among the elite teams of the 2011 NFL season.

I agree 100%. This is the type of game that quarterback play could have lost us the game. We survived, but it was very reminiscent of Weeks 1 and 2.

I'm very happy with where we are at, but if we plan to do anything in January, Alex can't miss those open passes. I understand that we probably wont win a Super Bowl, but with what Harbauah has done with smith so far, seeing Ales improve more is a realistic expectation.
