Anybody know what happened to Reggie Smith ? Here is one of his last twitter message : superreg30 Reginald L. Smith II Everything happens 4 a reason & I believe it. we have like 12 safeties on the roster. our extreme depth at safety is actually an issue that needs resolution. Mays can earn a spot if he's a ST star, but other guys, like Colin Jones, could be valuable ST players who can also actually play safety. I think unless Mays proves that he is clearly better at his actual position than some of the other guys, he is gone.

Bummer for the USC fans, but the truth.

Well he tweeted twice today one saying "Up and ready, time to get busy"
and "about to hit this walk thru"

So he can't be that injured can he? Maybe that tweet was related to something else entirely. I sure hope he wasn't b***hing about Goldson coming back. Beat his ass.

Hopefully those tweets mean his injury is ok.

I hope Reggie or the Niners actually post whether or not he has a serious injury. Sitting out of practice and his tweet made it sound like a serious injury. I hope not. We could still use him in passing downs. Maybe to replace Whitner on passing downs??

yeah, i love his potential, but potential only gets you so far. At least he is well known by both Baalke and Harbaugh, so they will be able to really accurately chart his progression.
