Whitner = Goldson. Rogers = Clements. Not the same kinds of players, but they'll bring a similar caliber of play. And for much much cheaper.

And this, in my opinion, was what was lacking on this team for the past few years.
We were one of the slowest teams in the league last year.

I agree with this, but if the D can go from 24th against the pass to 15th, while its not great, it would be a huge improvement over the disaster that was last season.
They were so bad last year, that type of improvement isn't totally unrealistic, especially if our pass rush under Fangio improves.
I think they'll draft a CB and receiver early next year... unless Edwards does well and get's resigned. Defensive back for sure, though.

I think we will be 18-22nd due to these facts:
1. new scheme.
2. we will blitz more, so bigger chance of someone blowing an assignment.
