How to judge Harbaugh this year

Whether he wins the NFC West. Cards, Rams, Seahawks all have bigtime problems. He should be able to pick up enough serviceable players to beat these teams.

Harbaugh is the ONLY reason I still have hope for this team. He appears to be a no nonsense HC. His sign says "do something or get the f**k out" to me.

After Singlefairys reign here, i'm going to be watching the playcalling. I want to see what plays are called in certain situations. I want to see if he starts playing defensively when they have a lead or if he keeps hammering away to get more and more. I want to see how he handles players when they don't perform the way they should and how long it takes him to replace them. If he has the balls to switch out a player if they're doing s**tty and getting us penalties.

I don't think you can judge him by the wins and losses. Not after the lockout and not after the grenade tossing that the roster lists in the NFL have been subject to. Start judging him on the wins and losses next year or the year after, this year it's all about how he can adapt to game time problems.

If they have at least the same wins or more and the games are closer in the ones we lose.

This year I will let him a lot of slack cause of the lockout. I won't be surprised they do a lot of experimentation and let the younger players have an oppertunity. Sometimes a younger player can actually surprise when put under the fire.

I'm assuming wins and losses are out, since if you don't have good players, you can't really control that.

One thing I'm looking for NO CLOCK MANAGEMENT MISTAKES. This ran rampent with the Singletary regime, and a sign of poor coaching.

They are giving him 0 quality players to coach. What else does he want as a test to prove his coaching skills?
