Too often we make the analogy that being a good player will make you a good coach. It doesn't in most cases.
I wouldn't want Favre teaching our QBs, Rice our WRs or Sanders our RBs.
Most of the greats knew how to drive themselves to be great -- but know very little about motivating and instructing less gifted athletes to reach their potential.

Where do people get the idea that Favre refused to help Rodgers?
I have read that he was not very outgoing but he did help him in certain areas.

Id love for Alex to mentor from Kaep, dude is a true professional and studies hard why wouldnt you want Kaep learning from a guy like that. Alex mentoring Kaep doesnt mean Kaep will play like Alex. Dont be stupid
