Kyle Williams or Ronald Johnson who will be our slot reciver in 2011 i personly like them both and im pretty sure that Jim would find way's to get them both the ball given thier talents at reciver and in the return game who would like to see start at the slot.

They are both pretty good. I believe Williams can be a good slot. He was just hurt last year and that's why people write him off. But he was real productive in college. I believe Ronald Johnson is also a very good player. It wouldn't surprise me either way.

Crabtree is the perfect slot receiver. Morgan and Johnson outside with Crabtree sliding inside in 3WR sets will do nicely.

I like the idea, but I imagine harbaugh running 2 backs or 2 TEs before running 3 WRs

for a second here I thought this was about one of my fav players of all time, Mr. Arnaz Battle, I miss him so much,
He did all the little things, sure he wasnt T.O. or a Chad Johnson type, but he was a guy who if u needed a 1st down would get it. He wasnt flashy, but on ST's, and yes he was a bit sloppy but i think cause he was a starter, where he would be perfect 4th WR and ST Guy.
But anyway on topic, I like Johnson for some reason, I just think he has so much upside.

Pleased enough that we have a good number of combatants for the slot position, but I wish we would have put more pressure on Morgan's job at SE.
Overloaded at slot, and underwhelmed at starting SE.

I'm not sure how many 3 wr sets we will see. But in today's NFL you need to go with 3 wr sets at times to exploit a weak nickel corner.

I can see Ginn pushing him, if he learns to actually catch

Agree. Morgan has proven to be nothing special, not even average for a WR.
I like Williams' quickness. He was injured last year and then just disappeared. His disappearance is yet another example of poor (offense) position coaching on the team for years.

* Im not so sure Ginn makes the team, cant run good routes or catch,
and the team has may more options now at KR/PR
(Williams, Hunter, Culliver, Johnson)
* Crabtree was the SE last year, and Mogan the flanker,
I could see Harbaugh switching them
* I think Johnson will play backup flanker, with Crabs moving to slot
on the rare occasions we use 3 WR
*I predict Williams will win KR/PR duties, but only have a small role as a WR
One spot left, If Zeigler comes to camp healthy, I think he wins it
