I actually prefer older fans to the younger fans. Older fans respect the 49ers history. They understand the true meaning of being a San Francisco 49er. They remember Fred Dean, Riki Ellison, Dan Bunz, Wendel Tyler. They understand that this organization used to be the class of the NFL.

The new fans are clueless. Stop yelling "niiiiinners" while walking through the stadium. stop tugging at your jerseys. You younger fans disgust me.

And Stay Off his grass

The old fans that complain, need to stay the f**k home, sit their asses down on the couch, and watch it on TV.
Is it really that bad at Candlestick? I 'm from Hawaii and live in Vegas and have not been to a Niner "home" game. Everyone has been on the road at LA, San Diego, and Arizona. Everyone of those road games I didn't have one person from either team tell me to sit down or shut up. So long as you are not cheering at the wrong time or being obnoxious I don't see what the problem is.
Anybody who buys tickets can go to the game. Tickets and season tickets over time cost a lot. So older people who are more established would probably be able to afford them more. Plus dealing with the high cost of living and extra luxuries like season tickets. They can hadle that more too. Young people like the roudy atmosphere of game days but are less equiped to afford it. So you probably get some combination of young people over reaching their financial capability to be there and older people who can afford to be there.

What can you do? You can't engineer the crowd around you. It is who it is. It could be young, old, middle age, handicaped, different races and ethincities, different socio economic classes and different preferences for loud or quiet and sitting down. If you can't handle the differences then you have to stay home and watch it by yourself...

I've never been to another NFL stadium for a game. IDK but around the country our fans have always been known as whiny p***ies. I'm not sayin any of YOU are, just sayin...

We weren't even that loud when we were steamrolling people in the post-season... but then again, we expected to dominate, so...

Yeah but I was at the season opener last year in Arizona and it got pretty loud in that stadium so maybe the "home crowd" are kicking back and sipping their wine and eating their cheese and crackers?
YES

LOL Banjo guy. His real name is stacey and is actually a self made millionare. Ive seen him of course at the stick but in seattle as well at a niner game. Hes had some tv time during the games.

Dude..take it from a guy who only gets to see Niner games on TV...

That guy gets ALOT!!!!! of air time. I been callin him old banjo guy for years.

Ya this guy used to come hang at my car in the main lot and talk Niners.. I'm not so young and when we came into the Stick it was NIIINERSS!!!

We also started the Lords prayer in the lot before we all went in. It got pretty big with maybe 30 people in the circle with my Niner cap on the top of the stack of hands, then at the end of the prayer..... NIIINEEERRRRSSSSS!!!
The old fans should just stay at home and watch the game they're watching the game through binoculars and listening to the play by play on the radio anyways.
