I think Steve Smith W from the Giants would be a great fit at WR along with Kaunor whatever from the Packers at FB. Both are Free agents.

I would be good with:

Smith
Kaun
McNabb
and spending bit on Nnamdi.

yeah a WR like Steve Smith or Santana Mos would be perfect.

Maybe even sign Ovie Mughelli from the Falcons. Or Snelling, also from ATL.

Or just draft someone. Or we can just use Byham and save that pick.

So many choices, lol.

better protection for both the qb and running game,

better schemes to get rid of the ball in case the pressure does come,

better getting the ball into the hands of the playmakers

I would rate the needs as
1. QB
2. patch the o line
3. WR
4. RB

I don't know about Nate or Troy in the WCO. I will always feel that Alex is a warm body until the real QB shows up.

Well, none of the three are on the squad anymore so that's pretty much irrelevant. It's unlikely that any of the 3 will be picked up out of FA by the Niners either.
