You can keep pretending that there are ZERO issues with the front office if you want. You can put you head in the sand. But we have big issues. Our front office is a joke.

Jed's made some boneheaded decisions lately such as touting an extensive search while ultimately promoting Baalke to GM and showing his lack of experience by shouting "money is no object,", but I'll reserve my judgment until all the pieces are in place.

No one really knows how Baalke will do or if it's a terrible hire. Just because he was promoted within doesn't mean he'll be do a horrible job. The events leading up to his promotion is what really puts a bad taste in fans' mouths. We'll see how Baalke does resigning our own free agents, pursuing others in FA and how he orchestrates the draft.

I've never been a fan of college coaches jumping to the NFL. Doesn't matter if it's $4.5 million or $8 million, I'd rather see a coach with real NFL experience. The track history of coaches making the jump to the NFL say it all. The odds of Harbaugh becoming a successful head coach are stacked against him. If we were in full rebuild mode, I'd be all for giving him a shot.

Give me Billick, Mornhinweg, Mularkey, etc. Truly believe we're an above average QB and a few defensive players away from being able to compete year in year out.

Too many people are fresh off beating their heads in after this horrible ass season and may be expecting way too much way too soon.

sooo....if Harbaugh didn't want to go Miami, and Gruden didin't want to go miami and Cowher didin't want to miami, what does that say about how bad miami's front office is?

Wasn't the original title. But the powers that be changed it and made it that. That wasn't the original point of the thread. But whatever. We go with it from here. Sure it was true. It's exactly what the thread was about. People turning away from us. But they merged it into a general thread and changed the title. Which they can do if they want. It's still a thread where we can discuss our front office structure and how we compete for candidates and whether or not we appeal to them. So it's fine.

~ He has financial restraints from John and Denise despite his bravado "Money is no object..."
~ Paraage is a recent MBA grad with no experience.
~ Baalke was a scout not long ago and has no GM experience. He is from the Scot M. school of FAIL.

This is a terrible front office.

i am literally lmao right now cause so what if Baalke has no experience. Well how to get it, you need to get a GM position to have it, duh.

And i highly doubt we only offered 4.5M we wouldnt low ball unless we dont really want harbaugh.
